| A fascinating trip to Doi Tung, an area of large-scale hilltribe development projects sponsored by a royal foundation and home of the Akha tribe. A visit is also made to Mae Sai, the border town of Myanmar.

| Discover The Akha Tribes. In the afternoon, depart by road to Doi Tung (The Flag Mountain), an area of large-scale hilltribe development projects sponsored by a royal foundation to an Akha village. Dinner and overnight at Akha village. (L, D) |
| Day :2 |
| The Golden Triangle. After breakfast, get to Mae Sai area for a visit to the market and other attractions in the district. Lunch is taken at local restaurant in Mae Sai before returning to Chiang Rai in the late afternoon. |
