| 09:00 Pick up hotel in Chiang Mai. Proceed to Ob Luang National Park with a short stop to visit Wat Phra Dhat Chom Thong, the beautiful temple in Chom Thong district. 10:30 Arrive at Ob Luang, check in at Khao Krailas Resort. At leisure. 12:00 Lunch at the resort. 13:00 Free time to take photographs of the fantastic Gorge of Ob Luang. 14:00 Start soft hiking to visit historic site of the Prehistoric community, observe the Prehistoric rock painting (about 1 hr.). After that enjoy exciting rubber-rafting along Mae Chaem River for about 2 hours. 18:30 Dinner at the resort. Overnight at hotel in Chiang Mai. |

| Ob Luang - Mae Chaem - Doi Inthanon - Chiang Mai -- 06:00 Breakfast at the hotel. 07:00 Depart to Mae Chaem District (about 1 hr.). Visit small villages in the beautiful valley which is rich in local culture - Wat Yang Luang, the power of the unity of the native people; traditional hand woven clothes; and the herb sauna, the local wisdom for your good health. 10:00 After witnessing the village life, continue the trip to Doi Inthanon National Park (about 1 1/2 hour). 11:30 Arrive Doi Inthanon, lunch at the Bird Centre. 12:30 Proceed to visit the highest point (2,565 m. above sea level) of the mountain and have the interpretive walk nearby at Ang Ka nature trail (about 45 mins.). This trail leads you to study the watershred of Ping River by means of raised boardwalk. Here you will see many Sphagnum Moss and Rododendron. It is execellent birdwatching site for many native birds especially Green - tailed Sunbird, Chestnut - Tiled Minla and also migrated birds such as Woodcock, Gray & Yellow Wagtail, Scaret Finch etc. 14:00 Return to Chiang Mai. 16:00 Arrive at Chiang Mai ( end of the trip). |
