Day 1 : ChiangMai-Sukhothai
08:00 hrs : Depart from Chiang Mai.
10:00 hrs : Arrive at Srisatchanalai - ancient town formerly called Muang Chaliang, was named Srisachanalai during the reign of Phra Ruang when a new adminstative center was established to replace Chaliang ruins of 134 monuments have been discovered in the park.
12:00 hrs : Lunch at local restaurant.
13:00 hrs : Arrive at Sukhothai, the first truly independent Thai Kingdom, Historical arifacts have demonstrated the Thai culture, most particulary Thai alphabet and Thai language originated in Sukhothai. Also make a visit to Sukhothai historical park, ruins of the royal palaces, Buddhist temples, the city gates and the water dyke control system which was the spiritual center of the Kingdom.
18:00 hrs : Arrive at Northern Palace hotel and check in upon arrival. (L)
Day 2 : Sukhothai-Phitsanuloke
Breakfast at hotel.
08:00 hrs : Depart from Sukhothai for Phitsanuloke, visit Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat, temple houses one of Thailand's most beautiful and significent Buddha images, Phra Phudth Chinnaraj. Continue to visit the museum in the temple compound houses a collection of Sukhothai art.
16:00 hrs : Transfer to Phitsanuloke airport. (B,L)
